Ex-Westchester Community College teacher arrested for allegedly using fake COVID vaccine card
A former Westchester Community College teacher has been arrested for trying to pawn off a fake COVID-19 vaccine card.
The county district attorney's office says 50-year-old Sonya Tarter Wilson was an assistant teacher at the school and was caught trying to use a relative's card she had altered to get hired full time.
The Mount Vernon resident was charged with criminal possession of a forged document, which is a felony.
The Department of Public Safety made the arrest following an investigation.
She is set to return to court next month.
