A former union president from Orange County is facing charges of embezzlement.
Brian Scott, who is president of Local 503 in Monroe, has been charged with embezzling more than $60,000 from the local coffers.
According to court records, he failed to report credit card charges and checks he wrote to himself from the I.B.E.W Union.
He was arrested in Miami and is requesting the case be moved to New York.
