The former women's softball coach at Nyack College was sentenced Thursday to six years of probation in a sexual harassment case.
Kurt Ludwigsen, 44, pleaded guilty to seven misdemeanor counts of forcible touching. Ludwigsen admitted during sentencing that he did touch the girls for sexual gratification. He was fired from his coaching job in March.
Parents of two of the players agree the punishment is just a slap on the wrist for the trauma he has caused.
He still faces a civil lawsuit from three team members who say he also invited them to get life coaching from an adult film star. Ludgwigsen has countersued, claiming the girls are trying to defame him.
Ludwigsen will serve his probation in California where he lives now.
