An emu led New Jersey police on a wild chase on Tuesday.

Calls started coming in yesterday about a large bird on the loose in Paterson.

After chasing the bird, animal control officers were able to get the emu into a cage.

Emus are native to Australia. There is no word yet on where this bird came from or how it got loose.
