Blade Air Mobility and BETA technologies announced the successful completion of a historic electric vertical aircraft test at Westchester County Airport.
The aircraft is powered by an all-electrical propulsion system with vertical takeoff and landing capability.
It has the sound decibel level of conventional helicopters.
The electrical aircraft can fly up to six people and features a modern design geared to ensure high levels of safety.
The hope is that the technology could revolutionize the aviation industry, enabling lower cost air mobility to the public that is both quiet and emission-free.
