Several elected officials are urging Westchester County Executive George Latimer to run for Congress.
Latimer, a popular two-term Democrat, confirmed to News 12's Tara Rosenblum that multiple people in political circles in Westchester want him to challenge Rep. Jamaal Bowman. Bowman represents the 16th Congressional District, which includes lower Westchester and portions of the Bronx.
"I am thinking about the advice I have been given and will have more to come,” said Latimer.
