With news that police in Indiana may have new information about Lauren Spierer, many in the community of Edgemont are praying that the mystery of her disappearance will soon be solved.
Four-and-half years ago there were posters on almost every storefront in Edgemont after the 20-year-old college student with piercing blue eyes vanished without a trace.
Since the news broke that the FBI raided a home in Indiana in connection to the case last night, many people who spoke with News 12 are hoping that Lauren's family might finally get some resolution. "I hope they find news. I hope they get some closure," says Jamie Kefer, of Scarsdale.
Bloomington police have say they have looked into more than 3,000 tips on the case since Spierer went missing on June 3, 2011, and will only confirm they aided the FBI in the search.
