A districtwide relief drive will assist those impacted by that fire and another one that happened a few days later in Hillcrest.

One of the two children killed in last weekend's Spring Valley fire was a seventh grader at Chestnut Ridge Middle School in East Ramapo.

The school district's family resource center is stepping in to help the surviving victims of that fire, many of whom also attend their schools.

They came up with a districtwide relief drive this week to assist those impacted by that fire and another one that happened a few days later in Hillcrest.
