East Fishkill mourns retired Det. Mark DiDato
The East Fishkill Police Department is mourning the loss of retired Det. Mark DiDato, who died Saturday at the age of 51.
DiDato served with the department for 21 years before retiring in 2021. After his retirement, he continued to serve his community as a school safety officer at John Jay Senior High School in Hopewell Junction.
Funeral services will be held Friday at St. Columba Church.
