The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office discovered 90 cats living in deplorable conditions over the weekend.
The cats were rescued after the sheriff's office received reports of animal cruelty at a home in Dover on Saturday.
The sheriff's office was aided by the Hudson Valley Animal Rescue and Sanctuary to save the cats, many of which were found in poor health.
