Police say that a three-car crash in Ramapo killed one person.

They say the crash happened on Route 202 near Spook Rock Road around 7:25 a.m.

Officials say one driver died, another is in serious condition and the third has less serious injuries. There were no passengers in any of the cars.

Route 202, also known as Haverstraw Road, was closed for hours but reopened around 11 a.m.
