A police pursuit spanning Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties ended with the arrest of a New Jersey man on Thursday.
Dutchess County police say the sheriff's office was notified of the chase early that morning.
It was eventually called off near Pawling. However, a sheriff’s deputy found the vehicle stuck inside a snowbank in Dover not long after.
Investigators say the vehicle had been stolen and contained drugs.
The driver, now identified as 46-year-old Julio Pineda, was apprehended at the scene.
He was processed and released with an appearance ticket at a later date.
