The Downtown Summer Sizzle Concert Series returned to New Rochelle on Saturday to the delight of music fans.
Music lovers describe it as a toe-tapping, hip-shaking, finger-snapping good time at Ruby Dee Park.
Saturday's kickoff of the weekly concert series offered performances by local musicians and plenty of good vibes.
"I think the vibe is amazing. The setup is very professional. It looks like it's going to be a good season this year, " said Justin Williams, of the Bronx.
"This is great. My cousins have been here, so I'm having a great time. They play great music every year," added Nicole Sweig, of Somers.
Mark Kay, of Yorktown, was so impressed with the musical talent that he plans to return every week.
"If I hear more of this, I'll be here for sure! Who's up next Saturday?" he said.
More than 50 local performers are scheduled to take the stage at Ruby Dee Park every Saturday afternoon throughout the summer season.
