A Dollar General Market is officially coming to the Town of Cornwall.
Supervisor Josh Wojehowski tells News 12 the discount retail giant has signed a lease for the Cornwall Plaza location on Quaker Avenue.
The store will occupy the space previously occupied by DeCicco’s until its closure last March.
The zoning board has approved the new store’s sign and HVAC upgrades will be happening soon, according to the supervisor.
“I’m looking forward to the DG Market opening up later this year, filling a hole in our shopping plaza and providing seniors and locals with a food market,” says Wojehowski.
Wojehowski says rumors of a Wegmans grocery store coming to the location are false.
