Dr. Smriti Deshmukh, a cardiologist with White Plains Hospital, joined News 12 Tuesday and spoke about the signs people should have watched for.
She explained the warning signs women often experienced before a heart attack and also outlined the symptoms that men typically showed.
Dr. Deshmukh discussed whether prevention strategies differed between men and women.
