A Ramapo podiatrist and his lover were sentenced Wednesday for plotting to have the doctor's estranged wife killed.

Ira Bernstein and Kelly Gribeluk pleaded guilty in January to plotting to kill Susan Bernstein.

The man they had asked to kill Susan Bernstein instead went to the Spring Valley police and became an informant. Ramapo police arrested the couple a year ago. Susan Bernstein was unharmed.

Ira Bernstein, 42, was sentenced to up to 15 years in prison. Gribeluk, 36, received up to 12 years behind bars after accepting a plea deal.
