Rapper DMX is back in the driver?s seat Friday after posting $25,000 bail.
DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, lives in Bedford and was arrested and issued a number of traffic violations during a traffic stop on Mamaroneck Avenue earlier in June. He was given two postponements for court, failed to show up on June 28 and the judge then issued a warrant for his arrest.
Simmons turned himself in Thursday only to be led away in handcuffs with what his lawyer called an unreasonably high bail. Simmons was told by the judge if he doesn?t show up for his next court date on July 24, his bail will be revoked.
