A school bus ride home turned into a frightening ordeal in the City of Newburgh Monday after authorities say a “disorderly adult“ kicked and broke the glass window on the door of the bus.

The incident unfolded around 3:52 p.m. near 50 Lander St., according to city officials who confirmed the incident after News 12 received a tip from a viewer about the violence. The source said that children were on board the bus.
