Delta Airlines will no longer offer food and drink service on hundreds of flights.

The move affects about 450 daily flights that are less than 350 miles, such as Los Angeles to San Francisco.

Starting May 19, the airline will stop in-flight meals, snacks, and beverages for those shorter routes.

The change will not impact fliers in premium cabins, with first-class passengers still entitled to full service.

On the other hand of this overhaul, the daily flights in the 350 to 499 mile-range will see an upgrade to the full beverage and snacks menu.
