Two more airlines have announced increased checked bag fees due to high fuel prices amid the war in Iran.

Delta and Southwest are joining the growing list of air carriers raising their rates to offset soaring jet fuel costs.

Starting this week, both airlines will now charge $45 for the first bag and $55 for the second, which is an additional $10 on each.

A third bag on Delta will now be $200 — a $50 jump.

As News 12 reported, JetBlue was the first to make a similar move, followed by United Airlines.

"These updates are part of Delta's ongoing review of pricing across its business and reflect the impact of evolving global conditions and industry dynamics," the carrier said in a statement.
