Chief Smith brings with her a distinguished 30-year career in law enforcement. She began her journey with the NYPD and later served with the Suffern Police Department.

For the past three years, she has been an integral part of the Rockland County District Attorney's Office as its first female Confidential Investigator.

Law enforcement is a family tradition for Chief Smith. Her father is a retired inspector with the NYPD, and her sister has dedicated 25 years of service to the FBI.
