The death of a Bronx toddler has been ruled a homicide, just one day after the boy's father called for justice in the case.
The medical examiner says Poseidon Quinones died from blunt force trauma of the torso. The 3-year-old boy was in the custody of his grandmother at the time. The boy's father, Benjamin Quinones, says police found bruising on the boy's head, shoulder and hips. The boy died at Lincoln Hospital.
Police say the family has a long history with the Administration for Children's Services.
