The Capitol Police officer who died following the violent riots was honored in Washington D.C. this weekend.

A funeral procession was held yesterday for Brian Sicknick.

The 42-year-old was injured when a mob of Trump supporters pushed through barriers surrounding the building.

Sicknick collapsed shortly after and was rushed to the hospital where he died.

Yesterday, flags over the White House were lowered to half-staff in his honor.
