The first real cold snap of the season is here with temperatures down in the 20s and the wind chill making it feel even colder.
While most people bundle up to be outside for a few minutes, day laborers in Yonkers say they were wearing multiple sets of layers to stay warm. Some workers stand out in the cold temperatures for several hours waiting for work.
Despite the weather, most day laborers say they will wait outside for as long as it takes to pay the bills.
