'Dare to be Different' luncheon in Greenburgh honors women's impact in the community

The organization "Dare to be Different" honored women and young people in the town of Greenburgh for their positive roles in the community during Saturday's annual gala.

People said the honorees are extra special for making themselves and those around them better.

"What makes them different is their uniqueness, the things that they do in and outside their community, and their willingness to not just elevate, pivot, but lift us as they climb," said "Dare to be Different" Founder and President Colby Jenkins.

The annual "Dare to be Different" luncheon is the county's largest Women's History Month awards gala.
