Wappingers Falls officials say one of two men charged in connection to a biker incident involving a state trooper has pleaded guilty.
The Dutchess County District Attorney's Office says 29-year-old Steven Hasbrouck of Middletown admitted to leaving the scene of an accident that caused serious injury.
The crash happened last September on Route 9D during a report of 30 to 40 bikers in the area. Police say other bikers interfered when troopers tried to help the injured rider.
Hasbrouck is expected to receive six months in jail and five years of probation when sentenced in September. Court proceedings for the second defendant are ongoing.
