DA: 2 arrested, illegal firearms and parts seized from Nanuet home after 2-month investigation

The DA’s office says it followed an investigation that began in May, after a report that an illegal firearms component was being shipped to Nanuet.

The Rockland County District Attorney’s Office on Thursday said two people were arrested in Nanuet as part of a two-month probe.
Video provided to News 12 shows police executing a search warrant to a home on New Clarkstown road on Tuesday.
The DA’s office says it followed an investigation that began in May, after a report that an illegal firearms component was being shipped to Nanuet.
Besides the arrests of two 35-year-old's in the home, two loaded semi-automatic handguns were seized, along with a large quantity of parts to create assault rifles and handguns were recovered - many without serial numbers.
