A CVS in Yorktown Heights is back in business just a day after a car smashed through one of its walls and sent five people to the hospital.
Workers have been busy making repairs since a driver crashed into the store Tuesday around 6:30 p.m. The CVS is located at 2000 Commerce St. in the Triangle Shopping Center.
CVS contractors say the driver is a teenager who lost control of his Honda Pilot due to medical issues. The car smashed through the wall and into the checkout counters. The driver, a CVS employee and three shoppers were taken to the hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.
Workers say it may take until the end of the week until all repairs can be made.
