Because of the global supply chain crisis, there seems to be an increased interest in hand crafted gifts and vintage decorations.
There are no bare shelves at Miss Dallas Shop in Milford and that abundance is appealing to customers this year.
Not only are people shopping for crafty creations, this year vintage Christmas decorations have been an especially popular alternative way to bring home holiday cheer.
"It's been quite exciting seeing the changes…maybe what's going on out there might also be an advantage for us small businesses," said Lynda Kilgore, of Miss Dallas Shop.
Customers from three different counties say craft shows, which were once sparsely attended, are now packed.
