Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo was re-elected to a second term Tuesday, defeating Republican Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino.
Despite being outspent, Astorino managed to get 41 percent of the vote, while Cuomo won with 54 percent.
Cuomo's win was expected, but his re-election campaign was met with some controversy over his handling of the anti-corruption Moreland Commission.
Astorino was back at work at the Westchester County Office Building Wednesday and says he was proud of the campaign he ran.
