The nationwide health care provider, Optum, has purchased Crystal Run Healthcare.

The purchase was quietly finalized in February.

Crystal Run is a multispecialty physician group with 15 locations in Rockland, Orange and Sullivan counties.

Optum issued a statement saying, “Optum and Crystal Run Healthcare share a strong commitment to providing patients with high-quality, local care with a focus on value and innovation. We are excited to be coming together to expand upon the exceptional health care services Crystal Run provides to communities in the Hudson Valley and lower Catskill region.”

Optum has 60,000 doctors in 2,000 locations nationwide.
