A group of Croton-on-Hudson teenagers came together Sunday to help the homeless in the Hudson Valley.
The teenagers, part of a youth ministry known as GodSquad, will either sleep outside or in the Holy Name of Mary Parish Center's gym to raise awareness for the homeless.
They will also go around the community to collect money, food and clothes for the homeless. The donations go to places like Fred's Food Pantry and are also distributed to the homeless in New York City.
One of the organizers tells News 12 that the youth ministry has been doing this homelessness awareness event for about 15 years.
This year, they've raised about $3,000.
