Good money. You doing? How you doing? You want a cigarette? No, I'm good. I quit them. I was smoking a lot of cigarettes while I was tripping through. Yeah, I tripped for like a whole, like two months straight. What are we doing? Sitting around? What? You been up to hiding from the cops? What's, what happened, dude, you can't blame me for doing this, right? I got to fill you up real quick. All right. Be good. No disrespect. I'll show you no disrespect. Ok. Look. Yeah, I got the FBI on my student. What, what did they question me? Oh, yeah. A lot about what about killing Sarah? They've been, uh, they were up by first, it was just normal police. They were on my, and I had to go in and get interrogated by them multiple times, but then it kept moving up levels and now it's a federal case. They've got the FBI. So you've been laying low, I guess. Oh, yeah. And not even, that's not even the worst part. The worst part of it is. I thought I was walking out 50 grand, 100 grand in my pocket. She had one safe and she took money out and she only had 10 grand and this money, I don't know if it was or something. It's old money. Terrible quality. I don't even know if I can put any of it in the bank. Right. Because it'll probably probably look sketchy. Right. It looks sketchy and it'll look like it. Sarah's money, especially if it's a federal investigation. If they're looking for the guy who has the old money. Right? Because it's probably like the, the old dollar bills and not like the new, because the $100 bills are changing now. Exactly. No, it's from the eighties, dude. It's old. And then what she found in her house or something, huh? She found it in her house. Yeah. Spent a lot of money and I didn't, I didn't even get a quarter of it. So, you only got like, what, 77, somewhere around there and you spent it on? No, I, I haven't even tried to do anything with it because it's in such a bad shape where you can't even use it. Like, I need to play low and then maybe, like, tape some up and see if I can put it in the bank. So, what do you have? It? Hid it? Yeah. Where did you hide it? Sammy Hook first. It was in my house for a long time. But then I stopped trusting Preston. Yeah. What's the deal with Preston? Was he? No, he's cool. He's, did you end up like helping or? Oh Yeah. Uh Dude, tonight we just tried to rob a drug dealer together. We just drove down to uh where you were in. Yeah, we were down there. We were gonna steal this guy safe and we get to the house and he moved, he's not at the same house, that same guy we went to that one time. Is it a different? You drove down there with us one time to get you. Yeah. Yeah, that's who we were trying to rob. We're gonna go back down tomorrow and I can try again, you know. Yeah, we found it tonight. There were just people there, there's a higher chance that there's not gonna be people that you gotta be smart with that, bro. Yeah, this is, don't do any stupid this and you're already saying the cops are on. So this is Preston's thing. This time, Sarah's whole deal was my thing. But I had planned Sarah's situation for me to be interrogated by cops. Like that was the whole part of my plan to make me look not guilty. Like did you? You didn't hear about him? It was all over the news but I didn't know if you like. Yeah. And the worst part is we threw off the bridge and the body never showed up. It's probably frozen. It's probably all the way out in the ocean and it's frozen. So she's not coming up anytime soon. Everybody is probably at the bottom of the ocean or she got by a shark or something, bro. This is like a movie, bro. Yeah. And dude. All right. So I'm hanging out with her. She has, we went to the bank, she took some money out. Not all of her money. We're counting it out and then she goes to walk out the front door. I choke her out. Drag her. My biggest problem was the dog and her dog laid there and watched as they killed her, didn't do anything. Her dog, what kind of, yeah. What kind of dog is that? It's like a, it looks like a beagle but it's like the size of a great Dean. Jeez. Nobody was there. No, nobody was there. Even her dad wasn't there. He was in Florida. Yeah, he said that he was. Yeah. So I have to leave. I dropped my phone at Sarah's house. My phone was at Sarah's house. Like when you left your phone. Yeah, I lost it and I couldn't find it. I had to go to work. I had timed everything out. So that why did you take your, should have left it in your pocket, dude. What were you doing? Strangling someone? I couldn't find it, dude. It ended up being out in the driveway. Oh, we must have dropped it. I must have dropped when I was crawling to get in the car, but I took her out, dragged her into the back put her in a bathroom and then I had to go straight to work. So Preston came over, took the body, put it in the bushes and then I was at work, I had a full, like night of work except I left work a couple of times which looks sketchy to look for my phone though, which is a reasonable thing to do. It's kind of like me losing my phone is kind of a good thing because the cops are like, oh, he's hanging out with her. He lost their phone, his phone, he's going back and forth between his house looking for it. And then I get off work that night, go straight over, uh, press and I go over to her house, take her safe, bring that over to my house before we do anything. Then we take her body out of the bushes and drag it over to her back fence and I crawl, get into her car and I back up. She, there's a security camera across the street. So I had to, I had to act like her, I watch her every time she backed out. She does the same thing. So I backed out exactly like she did in the, not put her in the passenger seat of her own car. And then Preston and I had these walkie talkies to communicate with. We just use them again. So I was driving and I had her buckled in in the passing away. So she looks like she just sleeps. She's just sitting up. And my, my plan was for me, I underestimated my own strength and how much a dead body would weigh because it's li it's li weight. Yeah, I got up on top of the bridge to throw her off. My, my plan was I was going to throw her off, run over, jump over the divider and get in the person's car and I go up, open the door on hooker, pull her out, start dragging her to throw her over and then cars start coming up. I see like headlights coming. I try to get her over and I can't my leg up like the weight from her body like made me fall and my leg like went up. So now I'm limping my legs up and there's three cars coming up. So I grab her body, dude, I had superhuman strength and I threw it in the car and I picked it up and her feet were up here and her, her, her head was down there and three cars go by and I'm losing my shit because I easily could have been a cop. And then, I mean the police station is like right there. Yeah. Yeah. And then Preston comes over, the bridge goes around. Makes a U turn comes up behind me. The two of us throw the body over and then we, we're out. Oh, so you needed help. I needed help. Yeah. But she's not even that big of a girl. Right? No, I'd say 100 and £60 max. So you just counted it out and then went behind her, just went out and looking, she like screaming or you had her so tight that it was like, I pretty much hung her like I just, I picked her up and had her just like dangling off the ground and she just pissed herself, said my name. And then that was it. And it took me a half an hour to kill her. I thought I was going to be able to choke her out and have her out in like a couple minutes. I choked her out and then she was just laying there having a seizure or something. So then I just, I had, I got a shirt and I just shoved it down her throat so she wouldn't throw up or anything and held my finger over her nose and set a timer. That's the only time I had my phone and it took me like a half an hour after I hit, start on a timer. This, this is the thing about like heist. There's so much that you can't account for. You don't know. Yeah. You, you don't know until it happens. And then the, the next month was just me getting interrogated by cops over and over and over again. Why? Because you were the last one to be with her? Yeah. And they knew through the phone, I guess through the phone calls they knew because it was just a known, it was part of my plan for them to know that we were hanging out because I needed to make it seem like we were better friends than we actually were so that they wouldn't question my behavior with her. What about, like your brother? You question him? He doesn't, he doesn't. Josh, didn't. Josh is the only one that I've seen him question, but he wouldn't do anything. So you told him? No, you are the only person on this planet that knows besides Preston and Preston doesn't know that. You know, and I think we should probably get back to our house because I gotta get hit that Brooklyn words. I've got work at six AM because Preston doesn't like this idea. He doesn't like that. He didn't just come to the house and if he knows that, you know, I don't want him, you know, I don't want there to be a change. Yeah. You don't. I know they question. I'm in Brooklyn. The cops haven't questioned me. I know. I know you're not a rat but we got, we got to play it safe. Anyone. No. Yeah, I understand. It could be anyone. And I don't want Preston to think that he has to kill you and take you out because you are the only person that knows because I've tried to, tried to imply that you might know, and he gets really upset. Yeah. So maybe, don't tell him, don't tell him, don't tell him. Yeah. But you're the only person besides the press and that knows when I told you that in the beginning, that's how it was gonna be. I planned this thing out for like, six months. Yeah. And I didn't get a lot of money but I had enough money to just be, like, living comfortably in my house, tripping, throwing parties all the time and doing whatever the Snapchat drinking. Every dude. Be careful though. I don't drink too much. No, I, I don't, I don't like, I don't want you to hurt yourself. I'm coming off a bender right now. I was just up from everything. All kinds of drugs, be care of cocaine Adderall, whatever, be care of acid. You can't do that too much, bro. I told you. No, your mind in a, no, it was just a, uh, experimental time. I've never really done a lot of drugs so I just wanted to try it all out trip a little bit. Find myself. Oh, you did it. So just stay away from the. Yeah. Yeah. No, seriously. Because I don't want you to be stupid after all this because one bad acid trip could ruin your life. Yeah. I already had, I've done acid once and I had a bad acid trip. Yeah. Don't, don't, I, I, I did acid and the cops came and took Preston to interrogate him. So I was on acid and first of all, I come out of the shower, Preston's mom's on the couch talking to him. They're all like secretive and, and I just go in my room, I'm freaking out like, what the fuck is she doing over here? She leaves. Next thing I know the entire Belmar police force is at my door taking Preston away like I thought they were arresting him. They were gonna get, he was gonna tell them everything. He didn't say a fucking word. He didn't say anything. You know, I was losing my when I was tripping like it's not a good, that's a good stay away from that. Yeah. Can be careful. I learned the hard way. But now I know you have a camera dude. I was so pissed. It fell right into a bucket of blood. I was shooting, it fell off, the tripod, fell right into a, did you get money? No, I, I have to talk to my dad about it still, but it just blows and I don't know, like, I don't know, I had to shoot on Thursday. I was like, I might have to borrow a camera or something. Like I really have no idea what the, what are you up to tonight? Nothing. I was gonna make some money tonight and get some. I thought I was like, definitely making between 4 to 10 grand tonight and getting like £4 of wheat on top of it and it didn't work out so that might happen tomorrow. Yes. Well, be careful for you. I mean the cops are already like they already question. So you got it. Be careful. That's all over now though. I think everything's over. So you don't gotta worry about the, I don't know cause the n A 19 year old just went missing just like Sarah car was on the bridge. They're gonna think that like a trail of murders are caused by me. That's the thing like Preston wanted to go here tonight and I told him all these guys know him. So if he's recognized, they're gonna go to the head drug dealer and he's gonna find Preston and kill him. So I'm like, you realize the, you need to weigh out the risk and reward because you're going in there thinking that you're going to see this guy and knock him out and that's going to be it. It's, it's killing all of them. Yeah. Do you have like a gun or anything or you just going in an empty, going in their empty hand hoping that there's no one there. Well, I mean the drug dealers, you better be careful. You hope they don't have a gun or something. No, they're, they're frat guys, they're all out at an event. That's the thing. They're all out doing this frat event in the house. You gonna hit the house. Yeah. And if anybody is in there I'm going to kill them and bury their bodies. It's like the ice man, bro. The Ice movement makes everything to be more dramatic than it really is. That guy's got some real psychological problems. Yeah. This tapes and crazy. I don't feel any different and I don't think about it. You always think you're going to try these new things and you're gonna change but it didn't change. It just doesn't do anything. Like tonight, we were gonna potentially kill a bunch of people and get a bunch of drugs and money and nothing. It's weird movie, man. It's your life. You might as well make it one. What are you gonna live some poor life? I'm thinking about moving to L A after the summer. I gotta just save up this money. I'm, I think I'm getting this union job. I think it's pulling through. So it's in, in California. No, that's in New York. Uh local 52. I'm trying to get a local C C A. It's that ah ac air condition or AC O engineers. I'm, I just need to like have experience heating, cooling, refrigeration, all that kind of before I get the engineer job. So I gotta work all these jobs first fucking stuff. It'll be worth it. But text me said dinner's ready. I gotta take this two hour drive. This sucks, bro. It was good seeing you, bro. Yeah, when I come back down, fucking do something. He's, listen, look at me, he's safe. All right. Yeah. Don't do any stupid. Listen, I'm not gonna let Preston do anything with them. I did something really dumb and I planned it out for half a year. Mike. How are you? I appreciate you coming. Thank you. Thank you. Well, here we are. It's actually time to change the picture. We have to change it about every six months it gets. Yeah. What's it like for you to be out here? Well, it's kind of like, uh, the only place I can come to see Sarah final resting place. Unfortunately, it's, uh, you feel closer to her when you're here. I do. Yeah, it's a nice, uh, you know, nice feeling. We change the change the flowers around seasonally, so it looks good and every once in a while people come by and beep and stuff when we're here. So how would you like Sarah to be remembered? Well, I'd like to, her to be remembered as a great artist, you know, just an all around nice person and, you know, fun to be with. She was a good, she was a good person. She had a nice personality and she just loved what she was doing. What is it? You're hoping people may take from me so soon? Well, I hope that they can remember her as the artist she was and that, you know, the web personality that she had when she was doing her podcast, you maintain this with the pictures and the, how do you imagine you'll keep this up as long as I'm alive and then if we can get somebody to do it in perpetuity, perfect. It's got a lot of cousins, I guess. As long as it's here, then it's, as long as it's here, the highway department is ok with it. They have a lot of these, you know, for, you know, all over the state, you see them and it's, uh, it's kind of sad. It makes me think of what happened when you see the flowers and the crosses and the pictures and stuff. It's, uh, it just, it brings it all home. I'd like Sarah to be remembered and, you know, we have the scholarship fund set up for her. So we're doing that again. This, uh, I, I, I believe it's the beginning of June through Neptune High school. We're hoping to expand it out to Brookdale where Sarah also went to school and did art. And if we can go further than that, as long as we have contributions and people think about Sarah, they see this show and, you know, they read about it and we hope that we can just keep her alive with art and the media and photography. Long as people remember her, then she's still here. She's still here. Right. Thank you, man.

911. Where is the emergency Belmore head down through the car that's abandoned. This is a story about a young woman who just seemingly vanished off the face of the earth. The police department. Sarah Stern was a very talented artist and some of the stuff she did was I just think it was fantastic and nobody really knew what had happened to her. There's a lot of people out here trying to find this young lady and you seem to be the last person who had any contact with her. And in the end, it's a story about friendship going horribly wrong and that's what kind of sticks with me, that betrayal. And it's haunting to this day.
