Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced the formal opening of a new state-of the-art crime-fighting facility at Stewart International Airport.
The 10,000-square-foot lab took four years to make, and cost $10 million.
The facility gives scientists and investigators the best technology to work with.
The project was funded by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in exchange for continued law enforcement services at the airport by New York State Police.
It is scheduled to be up and running by Dec. 1.
