Construction is continuing this week on the all electronic tolling system for the new Tappan Zee Bridge.
The system, which is currently being built on the Rockland side of the span, means no one will be stopping to pay with cash.
The Thruway Authority announced that there will be no toll hike in 2016, but drivers still wonder what the tolls will cost after that.
The Thruway Authority also announced it has formed a new New York Bridge Toll Advisory Task Force. The group will review rates, as well as potential commuter and resident discount programs.
