Maintenance workers accidentally set fire to the roof of a Yonkers apartment building on Sunday.
Firefighters say the blaze started just after 11 a.m. at 222 Main St. while roofers were using a torch to do patchwork.
It took about a dozen firefighters 45 minutes to put out the small blaze.
The fire caused extensive water damage in some parts of the building.
Investigators are calling the blaze accidental. There is no word on how much the damage will cost to repair.
