Firefighters battled a large brush fire in Dutchess County Friday night.

Flames were seen burning at the ridgeline of Hudson Highlands between Mount Beacon and Breakneck.

The smoke from the fire can be seen for miles -- over the Hudson River all the way to Newburgh.
