Crews battled a three-alarm fire in Yonkers Friday that they say began on a boat inside a garage. The blaze at 53 Post St. on the city's southwest side broke out at around 3 p.m. About 50 firefighters

Crews battled a three-alarm fire in Yonkers Friday that they say began on a boat inside a garage.
The blaze at 53 Post St. on the city's southwest side broke out at around 3 p.m. About 50 firefighters responded to the scene.
Fire officials say the building, a warehouse used for storing vehicles, caught fire and spread to the roof, causing it to collapse. They also say flammable materials were present inside the garage, adding to the flames
There were reportedly several expensive cars inside the building. There is no word yet as to whether there are plans to rebuild the garage.
No injuries were reported.
