Breaking news has
an impact on many people, including young viewers of News 12.
On Wednesday, we brought you the story of a truck that was traveling illegally on the Hutchison River
Parkway in Scarsdale when it hit the Mamaroneck Road overpass.
The truck, which was carrying 42,000 lbs. of frozen french fries, had
the top of its trailer sheared off and split in half.
Eventually, the
truck was moved to an off-ramp, and the cargo of fries was off-loaded to
another truck.
No one was hurt
but the crash certainly had an impact on
Patrick from Eastchester, who sent in a cute video update which included
information that his teacher made it to school in time despite being stuck in
traffic.
