All appointments have now been filled at the COVID-19 vaccine pop-up at Grace Baptist Church in Mount Vernon.

The site just opened as part of a state initiative to ensure people in minority communities have equal access to the vaccine.

Residents in Mount Vernon say the process was easy.

"When I came here today, believe me, I didn't know it was so easy. I never felt it,” says Robert Jackson. 

Appointments are also fully booked at pop-up centers in Yonkers, Poughkeepsie, Newburgh and Peekskill.
