2ds agoA Spring Valley man is facing a second-degree murder charge in Northern New York. John Moises Chacaquasay Ilbis, 21, is accused of killing a 21-year-old woman and hiding her body in a wooded area in Syracuse early in June.
Court documents state he allegedly strangled her. It also says he was arrested after going to the Spring Valley Police Department several days later.
Chacaquasay Ilbis is listed as a Spring Valley resident but a citzen of Ecuador.
Reports say he and the victim knew each other.
