Westchester Democrats picked three incumbents Wednesday evening at the annual nominating convention.
County Executive Andy Spano, District Attorney Janet DiFiore and County Clerk Tim Idoni were all selected to run for their current positions. DiFiore received her first nomination from the Democratic Party after she was elected as a Republican in her first term.
Andy Spano's son, David, who is a leader of the "Abolish County Government Movement," challenged his father for the nomination. He did not receive enough votes.
The Republican Party has already nominated Rob Astorino for county executive and Dan Schorr for district attorney. Idoni is currently running unopposed.
