The days of maskless visits to your favorite Hudson Valley restaurant could soon be coming to an end. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio urged vaccinated New Yorkers to wear a mask indoors, but stopped short of implementing a mandate.
The manager of Carlo's Pizzeria in Yonkers says they're already doing their best to keep patrons safe.
Still, coronavirus-weary residents are already saying enough is enough when it comes to the changing rules and the dangerous and fast-spreading delta variant.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended last week that even the fully vaccinated should put a mask on in certain situations.
The announcement led to city and state governments throughout the country re-instituting mask mandates and proof of vaccine requirements. Now, there is a growing fear among business owners.
