Corrections officer, inmates injured in multiple fights at Green Haven

Several inmates and a corrections officer were injured over the weekend during fights at Green Haven Correctional Facility after an inmate was killed there last week.
The Department of Community Corrections and Supervision confirmed the information after News 12 received several tips from viewers with loved ones working or incarcerated at the facility in Dutchess County.
Sources say four inmates were stabbed over the weekend and an officer was injured during separate fights.
DOCCS wouldn’t confirm the number of people hurt or their injuries.
Just last Tuesday, one inmate was fatally stabbed and another was injured during a fight with another inmate.
State police are investigating.
