A Cornwall mom who lost her son in a tragic accident is helping families cope with similar losses.
Cara Martinisi's son, Christian, died in 2014 after a garage support beam collapsed on the boy.
Martinisi says she found comfort and support speaking with other families with similar experiences and wanted to help others as well.
She started the nonprofit "Love From Heaven" in 2019 to give care packages and free coaching services to families in need.
"The very few people that I did meet and talked with touched my life and made me realize that I can go on and that's how Love From Heaven was born," Martinisi says.
