Police say the man suspected of fatally stabbing a West Nyack man may have met the victim on Craigslist.
Police arrested Dylan Lentini, 19, Tuesday in connection with the stabbing death of 66-year-old Michael Wimbert inside a small apartment house at 68 Demarest Ave.
Officials say Wimbert posted on Craigslist looking for a roommate, and they believe Lentini responded to the ad.
Police say Lentini arrived in White Plains by train last Friday, and then drove to Wimbert's apartment in West Nyack. They say Lentini stayed there with Wimbert until Tuesday morning.
Lentini is scheduled to be back in Clarkstown Town Court Friday afternoon. The case is also scheduled to go before a grand jury on Friday, so that court appearance may not take place.
