According to police, two Bronx men, Juan Polanco and Carlos Mercado, entered the Sanchez?s Coolidge Avenue home around 10:20 p.m. Wednesday. Police say a third man, Leoncio Sosa, remained outside in a getaway vehicle.
The Sanchez?s daughter managed to call 911, which prompted a huge police response. Polanco and Mercado were apprehended fleeing the scene. Police say Sosa turned himself into authorities on Thursday.
All three men are facing burglary charges. Polanco and Mercado are also facing criminal possession of a weapon charges.
