Tonight
Freezing temperatures are expected in higher elevations in Ulster County. Temperatures elsewhere will be in the low 40s, mid 40s for southern Westchester and warmer spots along the river.

The weekend
Plenty of sunshine. Cool mornings, in the 50s, then warm in the afternoon with highs approaching 80 degrees.
Next Week
Temperatures are very warm to start the week.
Morning lows will be near 60 degrees and afternoon highs will be in the upper 70s and low 80s.
The typical October afternoon is in the upper 60s, so this is significantly warmer than the average. Rain is not expected on Monday or Tuesday, but the dry weather will not last.
A sweeping cold front will pass through the Hudson Valley on Wednesday bringing some much needed rain, although it's too early to determine if it'll be enough rain to help with our rain deficit.
Temperatures will cool down by next Thursday, into the mid-60s.
