A Yonkers construction site was shut down Monday after a construction worker was injured in a trench accident. The injured worker was pulled out of the trench and rushed to the hospital in the afternoon

A Yonkers construction site was shut down Monday after a construction worker was injured in a trench accident.
The injured worker was pulled out of the trench and rushed to the hospital in the afternoon after apparently being hit by a pipe.
The Yonkers Fire Department and federal job safety officials later closed off the site along Executive Boulevard, where a new hotel is under construction.
