Connecticut’s minimum wage to rise to $14 an hour on Friday

Jun 28, 2022, 2:18amUpdated on Jun 28, 2022
By: News 12 Staff
About 150,000 people across Connecticut are set to get a pay raise Friday as the minimum wage goes up to $14 an hour.
The raise is part of a yearly increase passed in 2019.
Gov. Ned Lamont visited Full Circle Youth Empowerment in Bridgeport Monday to hear from students what the pay raise means to them.
Business groups opposed the minimum wage hike, as well as Lamont's opponent Bob Stefanowski.
